In fact, not just the same - but almost the same painting! I've been painting for thirty plus years, and I don't want to hear some dilettante tell me my work is "not mature" because I like to work on differing series of things. I think that kind of constraint is dated.

When I look at your work overall, I see brushwork akin to handwriting. I see a way of dealing with form and color, drawing and planes that is yours no matter what you paint.

Thank you for being a inspiration - and for daring to buck the system.

And by the way, love, love, love your animals.Patricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10722805078667526468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3674898426369236660.post-43047520096250474612009-12-05T10:43:58.997-08:002009-12-05T10:43:58.997-08:00I appreciate your kind comments, Joanne. For a short time we had a Maya (Angelou) but she found an open gate and we never saw her again.Don Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10497657029761169270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3674898426369236660.post-43262023906029850492009-12-05T10:29:25.991-08:002009-12-05T10:29:25.991-08:00Hi Rahina--thanks for checking in and for the nice...Hi Rahina--thanks for checking in and for the nice comments.Don Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10497657029761169270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3674898426369236660.post-80137501818882716552009-12-05T10:27:11.533-08:002009-12-05T10:27:11.533-08:00Thanks, Simon.
