About Me
- Don Gray
- I must like extremes. Having painted many murals that cover the sides of large buildings, now I find myself doing daily paintings that fit in the palm of a hand. Truth is, large or small, I don't care. With a brush in my hand and something to paint on, I'm happy. I've drawn and painted nearly all my life. Earliest inspirations came from the landscape of my childhood in rural Oregon. I lived many years in the Pacific Northwest, later spent five years in Arizona and seven in California. Recently my wife Brenda and I have returned to the Oregon valley where we used to live. I've always felt nurtured and sustained by my relationship with the land and the light of the West. My paintings have been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the United States. I've also taught, painted numerous indoor and outdoor murals and illustrated over twenty books.

If anyone has problems with right side of image being cut off, refresh screen and it will re-format. My apologies for formatting issues we're having with these first posts.
Oh the best-laid plans of mice and techno-challenged artists! If you received two email messages from me, just delete the one with colored background. We are implementing an automated posting system and obviously dealing with some issues. Thanks for your patience, I promise I'll get it straightened out.
THIS ONE WAS NOT VERY GOOD BECAUSE THE REFLECTION DID NOT LOOK LIKE THE TREE BUT OH WELL WE ALL HAVE OUR HARD TIMES! BECCA
