I really like this. It's such a familiar sight to me, here in California. But I don't remember seeing any dry hills when I visited Oregon.
Thanks, Silvina. You probably visited western Oregon, where a lot of rain falls. If you cross the Cascade mountain range to central and eastern Oregon, it is much drier.
