Near Harvest
Oil on board, 5"x7" $125.00 + $6.00 shipping in US.
SOLD

While in western Illinois recently I stole time away from my mural project to roam the countryside--endless acres of waving corn dotted every mile or so by trim, whitewashed farms. "Knee-high by July" used to be the saying for growing corn, but the farmers really have it down to a science these days, and it's usually twice that tall by then. By harvest-time many of these fields stand 10 or more feet tall.

BAM! You hit it right out of the park!
