Yay!! I LOVE this new series! Terrific!! The Big Apple - that's great. What fun you can have with just the titles of these duos! Can't wait to see the next one!
Thanks, Martha. Yeah, it is fun coming up with strange duos. It is also interesting to me to sort of "watch" my analytical left brain trying to make reasonable connections between unreasonable things.
A fitting title might be - "An apple a day keeps Dr. Watson away" for the Sherlock Holmes aficionados, or perhaps "The game is afoot"? Actually that might better be applied to todays "boot" painting although "A game of Squash" came to mind. Very cool idea and nicely rendered! I wish I had thought of it.
Mark, thanks for coming by. Great title ideas. Admittedly, my titles are on the boring, deadpan side. But something in me wants to play it straighter with them. As if "Tomato and Hiking Boot" is as normal as, say, "Wineglass and Cheese Wedge."
Nonetheless, I'm delighted they provoked those thoughts for you--many thanks!
