Hi Don

These last three scapes are so beautiful - I love the large skies and the clouds, and the seas of grass and flowers. I can almost smell these places!

Uplifting!

Thanks, Martha. It was an uplifting day.

Don, judging from the last three paintings it looks like you're having a gorgeous Spring in Oregon.

May I ask, did you paint these on location or in the studio?

It is indeed gorgeous, Silvina. After the long winter it's the only thing mother nature could do to make people around here forgive her.

These are studio works from photos, not plein air. My ideal is for it to be hard to tell the difference.

Well, I'd say you've achieved that loose and spontaneous look you can only get painting outdoors.
