Takes me right back to my convent school in the '50s Don! Yes, it is a bit spooky but that is for me partly what this series is about. You don't have to keep going back to a painting because it is "beautiful" (according to external standards of beauty) but because it calls you back - as Martha said "haunting".
I liked this one when I first saw it - especially the way you handled the plaid pattern. But now I see the nimbuses (nimbi?). These must be the saints of the family!
