Beavers gnawed this tree until it toppled, then chewed the limbs and bark off. They gotta have sore gums, don't you think?
Silt in the snowmelt runoff turns the water a beautiful milky blue-green.
I am especially loving the detail and colour of those trees in the background.
Wonderful Don. I want to be there, but could we turn the temp up a bit so I can wade?
Thanks, Katherine. Just put on your hip waders, like all the fishermen do. (You do have hip waders, don't you?)
These three last watercolors are so great Don, we sense spring. I especially appreciate the colors on this one. Now each time I look at trees surrounded by melting snow, I think of your work!
Pierre, your generous words are so appreciated--thank you!
Thanks a lot, Sema!
This is beautiful - love the way you handled the bushes!
Thanks for your comments, Jane, and thanks for stopping by!
