Your paintings look so real.
I have a question...
If you could go back in time and whisper some advice to yourself when you first started painting, what advice would you give?
The stone series is great btw

Looks like the start to a great recipe! Love how colorful it is.

Thank you, Lee and welcome.

Hi Gregory--great question! It would probably be "when a company called Microsoft comes along...buy stock!"

No, seriously it might be to try always to hold onto the thread that connects you to why you wanted to do art in the first place. There can be many pressures on an artist that can work to fray the connection. Nurture and protect that original excitement.

Thanks, Sheryl!

Time for a cooking workshop.
I'll come and be your sous-chef as long as your not as demanding as chef Ramsey.

The rock series is fantastic - great searing color and strong contrast, the brushwork is fresh. They have a startling presence and bridge the particular and the imaginary very successfully.

Sounds great, Marc! Bring your chef's hat and your paintbrushes!

I'm so glad you feel that way about the rocks. Finding a bridge between naturalism and imagination is exactly what I was after. Thanks for your encouraging words.

Gorgeous Don!

The colors of the lime and peppers pop against the muted brown background.

The sky blue highlights on the green pepper.....awesome!
