The colors in this painting are so eye catching. I admire your ability to use watercolor so well. Are you teaching any classes this summer?

I knew you'd be back to it, Don.

Blues and browns are here to stay!

You know I just had to mention that! (^_^)

Great close-up composition here keeps the building interesting to look at.

Nice strong shadows too!

Another winner!

Thanks Sheryl. I'll be teaching a watercolor workshop in late August at the Arts Center in La Grande. I'll post details later this summer.

Hi Don! I am pretty new to blog-land and am just getting started myself. I have been madly surfing around looking at different sites and your's really caught my eye! I love how you portray light in your paintings, and particularly like the wood and other surfaces in this painting. It's a wonderful painting, very pleasing work. I look forward to following your future posts and wish you much continued success! Aliaena
