I've taken to studying clouds lately, and it has taken me back...back to youthful hours spent lying on the grasses of endless summer, watching with wordless fascination as majestic thunderheads materialized out of the clear blue and rose languidly upward. Those vast, billowy columns were the very stuff of dreams.

Mr Poet what kind of brush do you use for your perfectly billowy clouds? This series is so dreamy!

Clouds stop me on my tracks all the time!

Just ordinary bristle flats most of the time, Erika. Sometimes I use synthetics if I want to soften or smooth things a little more.

Thanks!

Its funny isn't it Don how our environment has a lasting impact on us. You see I could hardly see the sky for the factory chimneys and the fog (LOL, a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean). Great studies though these, really makes me think of wide open spaces.
