Angus Bull

Oil on board, 5" x 7"
$125 plus $6 shipping in U.S.
SOLD

I came across this big fella while out driving the farm roads the other day. He glowered at me while I skidded to a stop and I knew immediately this was the pose I wanted. I snapped a quick photo out the window and jumped out to take some more. By this time he had lost interest and was ambling toward the cows that were keeping him company. I yelled and banged on the pickup trying to get him to stop and look back again, but he was so through with me--I didn't even get a sidelong glance.

That bull does not look pleased, Don!

I guess he must know what his fate will be!

I love the color choices here. The purples on the bull's hide were unexpected and not something I would've thought of doing myself.

That's why I like it so much!

That is a beautiful bull. He doesn't look like he wants to be petted.

Hi Dean,

Well, he shouldn't be grumpy. As long as he's "productive" he is fated to be surrounded by a harem of lovely female bovines!

Thanks for the nice note.

Thanks, Bill. No, I don't think he's the cuddle up on your lap type. But if you want to scratch him behind the ears I'll hold your coat.

Hi Micah--thanks. Are those birds ever going to sit still for you? :^)
