The lowlands near the creek are made up of small grassy meadows punctuated by thickets of alder and willow. Here and there tall cottonwoods loom up to preside over everything. It's boggy in spots--one needs to step carefully or risk sinking ankle-deep in black mud.

dreamscapes? i guess they are in many ways though they capture the simplicity within a complex world that so often goes unnoticed, maybe that is why i admire this. great work Don. r.
