The Narrows

Oil on board, 5" x 7"
$125 plus $6 shipping in U.S.
SOLD

Here the canyon narrows and even the slow waters of autumn quicken a little. Each time I paint this subject I search for a little different aspect. Here I tried to express the subtle sun and shadow falling across the water.

Well... you caught it, Don! The sun and shadows were the first things I noticed about it. But I love the rapids, too. Great piece!
