Took a walk with Winslow the other day and came across the well-weathered bones of a cow--a not uncommon discovery in this cattle ranching country. It may seem morbid to some but I find incredible beauty in their forms.

Yes, I see what you mean. They are beautiful. What's wonderful about this is the use of colour - those marvellous purply deep shadow areas. A great painting Don.

Hi Carolina--thanks. Yes, it could almost be mountains. It's intriguing how organic forms large and small have this affinity of shape and structure.
