I'm really interested not just in your choice of colour Don but the way you are applying paint. Sometimes letting a brush stroke lie there, sometimes blending it and again seeming to "brush it away". All I know is the paintings work for me. They are such a personal interpretation of the subject.
Sheila, if there were such a thing, I might be arrested on charges of "paint abuse." I glop, slap, scrape, scrub, tickle, spatter, wipe...anything to try to make the paint surprise me--come up with something I haven't seen before. It's exciting and often frustrating, but I'm "hooked."
Wow Don, these are so lovely! You've been pretty busy. I just finished a 3 day workshop on landscape painting.....I was STRETCHED lol Using the acrylics sure worked me over and the instructor was wonderful. She did several demos a day for us.
