I've recently done a little more work on this larger painting that was posted about a year ago. The changes are very subtle--a little re-structuring of the clouds and some glazing work, but it was enough that I decided to re-post.
I can really feel the steepness and the height of your vantage point! You really captured it well. You sent me mountain climbing! Awesome.
Good strong diagonals... the scree of the rocks and the skid of the clouds. Pretty exciting!
the composition is brilliant! and the rocks in the foreground must be like a sweety shop for someone like you who loves painting them (and for me cos i love stones... and trees and moss and ...)
woooowww!!!! muy buen trabajo.Un abrazo.
Susan, I can attest that the trail to this point was steep indeed, so I would have been disappointed if it didn't appear that way in the painting! thanks for your encouraging words.
You put it very poetically, Sam--thanks!
Oh you're so right, I loved painting those rocks, Rahina! Thanks for your thoughts.
See... can't leave those rocks behind! Beautiful Don.
You're right, Katherine...rocks in my head! :^) Thanks.
