I've recently done a little more work on this larger painting that was posted about a year ago. The changes are very subtle--a little re-structuring of the clouds and some glazing work, but it was enough that I decided to re-post.

Good strong diagonals... the scree of the rocks and the skid of the clouds. Pretty exciting!

the composition is brilliant! and the rocks in the foreground must be like a sweety shop for someone like you who loves painting them (and for me cos i love stones... and trees and moss and ...)

Susan, I can attest that the trail to this point was steep indeed, so I would have been disappointed if it didn't appear that way in the painting! thanks for your encouraging words.
