The open studio went well, with visitors drifting in and out all day Saturday. Thanks to everyone who took time out of their weekend to pay me a visit. Even a longtime friend who recently celebrated her 90th birthday climbed the 31 steps to the studio--a special thanks to you, Helen!

This is just superb. I can almost feel that first cold chill when you stick your feet into the edge of the surf.
