Well Worn

Acrylic on board, 6" x 6"
$125 plus $6 shipping in U.S.
SOLD

This is from my archive, posted nearly two years ago. These little "Mary Jane" type shoes are from the collection of the Union County Museum. My studio happens to be above the museum, and the shoes happen to be in a cupboard in the studio. I love how the toes are scuffed...reminds me of my own grown daughters in their childhood years--boy, were they rough on shoes.

We've got a full-blown blizzard going on tonight as I write this, with roads closed due to wind and drifting snow...seems kind of early for this, but ready or not, here it comes!

What a old-smelling eye's-flashing!

this protrays the power that is within your paintings and brush work: somehow you capture a moment to which the observer can't help but respond.
