The Webmaster

Oil on canvas, 20" x 24"
Not for sale

Sorry for no new paintings recently. I've been under the weather lately with some kind of bug. I'm starting to surface now, so hope to be painting again soon.

Meanwhile, here's a re-post of a painting done several years ago of my son, Jared, intently focused on his laptop. Jared is a web developer and graphic designer. His ability to concentrate astounds me. He had no idea I was hovering around him, snapping photos.

A portrait is as much a picture of function as it is form. This one expresses a lot about what Jared does and how he does it. You must be glad to have it.

The holidays can test your metal. Take the time you need to recupe.

Thanks, Sam...feeling better every day.

It is, of course, a special portrait to me--not so much for the painting, but as a reminder of the experience.
