Boy did I put the miles on the old virtual RV last night! Here I am on Prince Edward Island, out in the Atlantic off the coast of New Brunswick, Canada. It's summer now, so some kind of weird time-warp thing must have happened.

What...you don't believe me? Maybe you'll believe this: I was in Canada a few years back on a mural project and stole a couple of days away to sightsee. This painting of a lobster shack and traps is from a photo I took on the island.

PEI, as the locals call it, is a beautiful place; there are rolling farmlands carved out of thick spruce forests, fishing boats in picturesque little harbors and miles of red sand beaches. An eight mile bridge built in 1997 connects the island to the mainland. It's a surreal experience driving across the open ocean!
