Angus cattle follow a feeding line of hay--a pretty typical wintertime sight all across the rural west.

This will be my last post for a week or so, as we'll be spending holiday time with family and I'll be away from the easel. Season's Greetings! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!

Another beautiful piece Don. I enjoyed Poney Barn and Green Roof as well, I always connect with those typical outdoors from your surroundings and the way you capture their essence trough your brushstrokes!
I wish you great moments during holidays, Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Wonderful piece, Don. Your winter landscapes are amongst my favorites, and I've been enjoying all of your recent pieces immensely.

Have a wonderful Christmas with your family, and we'll look forward to seeing you back in the New Year!

I'm wondering if the cattle will lift their heads to see how beautiful their surroundings are. Love the light in this one, as well as the stark black animals against the softer colors of the landscape.
Have a great Christmas celebration.
