We need to get out more...maybe go see a movie. Brenda and I watched the Oscars and realized we haven't seen any of the nominated films. They all look really good, too. That seems to be backed up by the way the awards were spread around this year; no single picture "swept" everything.

Hi Sam--yes, my early Wyeth influence comes out especially in my winter watercolors. I used to worry about that, but now--after all these years--I just enjoy settling back into the feeling once in a while. Someone once called it the "joy of influence."
