When I saw this painting I felt a great sadness slip over me. I wish you could have painted my grandmother's house. It's gone. The land buried beneath a vast sea of asphalt for a shopping mall, only existing in my mind. Did you move to Portland?
Excuse me. Did I miss something? Are you really moving into the -- um -- er -- city? It's a process? Well, yeah! What's that sign on I-84 say? Besides 7% grade?... Proceed with caution.

Hi Ann-Marie. Something about this house must be similar to your grandmother's home--what is it?
Not moved yet, but still planning to. It's a process.

Yes, Sam, you heard right. We're laying plans to move to the Portland area. With 2 of 3 kids and our grandson there, we want to be closer.
We are proceeding with a mixture of caution and excitement. Guess that makes us level-headed, right?
Can't believe this is watercolor. Love it! I know whose art I'm buying and commissioning if I ever get the opportunity!
Erika--what a nice thing to say--thanks!
