The foothills that rise from the edge of our valley floor appear to march steadily up into the forested mountains. But tucked into a hidden fold is a long, gently rolling basin appropriately named High Valley. A handful of small farms flank the road that runs its length. This wooden barn has been lovingly restored and now serves as a gathering place for the reunions of a longtime High Valley family.

Good morning Don! It was a lovely surprise to click on this and see your painting of this beautiful barn. It holds a special place in my heart. It is a reminder of warm summer days at our reunions surrounded by family. Thank you for brightening my day!! It is nice to see the barn in all of its winter glory.
