Posting that Hawiian scene yesterday put me in a tropical frame of mind, so I painted another one today.

Hi Don,
Or should I say, "Aloha"? Are you teasing me here, Don? You realize we're leaving Portland in fifteen days...right.
Whatever the motivation, it's a wonderful painting and it's sure getting me in the mood to get going.
Thanks for the late winter respite.
Have a great day tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Gary.

I just returned from 2 weeks in Hawaii... we were in Oahu (visiting our daughter) and Kauai. Already missing those trade winds... mahalo for the gorgeous reminders! :)

Mahalo, Gary. I did think of you and your upcoming move while I was painting this, but my skin started turning green and I had to re-focus on the painting.

Seriously, I hope the move is as smooth as moves can be and that Hawaii fulfills all your dreams.

Aloha Laurel--doesn't take long to get in that "island rhythm", does it?--or to miss it when you leave. Thanks for stopping by.
