What do you think a dog dreams about? While dozing, Winslow sometimes starts flailing his legs in a running motion while "barking" with his mouth closed. It's hilarious. I'm guessing he's hot on the heels of a rabbit, or maybe putting a good scare into that big bully neighbor dog.

I enjoyed trying to catch something of that dreamer spirit with this loosely painted watercolor study.

What a wonderful piece. I so like how you let the medium speak and kept everything in such a warm limited color range.
As you may remember, I tend to love your Winslow paintings.

This is a lovely portrait of the dog, conveys trust, warmth, comfort. I love the monochromatic treatment, and the crop. Nice.
