Another piece for my August show at Mary Lou Zeek Gallery. The little long-haired Dachshund is Spiffy, Winslow's "cousin". Spiffy lives in Portland with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Both dogs, though sweet-natured fellows, are used to living alone, so whenever they get together it's interesting to watch. They're friendly and polite to one another, but also quite reserved. It's almost like they tolerate each other for the sake of "family".

These paintings of your dog are absolutely wonderful. I have been out of the blogosphere for the past few months and am thoroughly enjoying catching back up!!
