We've been so focused lately on getting our home ready for sale, as well as looking at homes for sale in the Portland area, that I'm afraid we're both a little obsessed...or is "possessed" a better word?
Anyway, this little painting I did of a rustic vacation cabin we stayed in a few years ago caught my eye again. The lamp in the window spoke to me about the fundamental meaning of "home"--a place offering not just shelter, but a feeling of comfort, warmth and belonging. Be it ever so humble.
