I painted this back in 1983, and feel it's one of my best works from that era. The collector who owns it would like to sell it. If you're interested, contact Renee at reneemlv@gmail.com, or call 702-767-8800.

How 'bout those Seahawks!! I'm a Seattle fan, but it was painful to watch Denver disintegrate. I found myself rooting for them to at least score a few more touchdowns.

Beautiful painting. The horse and silence feel like long lived friends, and happy about it.

The Seahawks are amazing! One stunning moment after another. Great game.

Hi Don,
It's the owner's loss to sell this great work. It's beautiful.
Yeah, the Seahawks tore it up. I never expected the game to turn out like it did.
We lived in east Tennessee following our return from Italy and Peyton was a young quarterback at the University of Tennessee. I really enjoyed his talent and always expected he'd have a terrific NFL career. He sure proved me right! My hope for the game was that he would win and announce his retirement or even if he lost, but played well, he give it up.
I don't know if he'll stop now or feel like he's gotta give it one more try.
I'm concerned that another year might be his last as a result of a sack. His neck and lack of mobility in the pocket really put him at risk. I think he should accept the defeat and retire with his fifth MVP and all those records.
Anyway...I'm really happy for you having successfully made the move.
Have a great day tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Gary.

Hi Gary--sorry for slow response--thanks for the kind words. And thanks for the Peyton Manning analysis! The Super Bowl loss should be no reflection on his amazing record. I agree he should walk away gracefully, but that's really hard for these guys to do. I expect to see him on the field next year. Be well.

it's wonderful! we own nothing in life... we are only caretakers of anything that we value... and in some way it is passed on or destroyed... i guess it is time for this work of art to be passed on to the next caretaker.

Thanks, Rahina. I like your reminder about our "ownership" of material things.
