I like the saturated colour very much Don and I like the chalkiness you have achieved. Seldom we see both together. By the way the photograph is superb. Did you use a tripod?
Thank you, Sheila, I always appreciate your thoughts. Yes I did use a tripod and a little Canon G12 camera. It's just a higher end point and shoot camera, but I like the results. I also do a great deal of work on all these photos in Photoshop, trying to bring them closer to the originals. If I just used the raw image they wouldn't be as good.
Hi Don...Like these heavy intense rock paintings, theres something in your face and blunted at the same time, somehow reminds me of Joseph Beuyes "Felt and Fat" obsession....lumpen inanimate objects intensified....like muzzac turned up loud...in a good way. I just uploaded a bunch of frothy paintings.
