Don, these are very well painted but I think you may be in a small idea rut here. You could try painting them in the sun at the beach, out in the rain, at sunset, etc.Hope this helps you.bj

Good idea, Bill, I'll bet the onion and string would enjoy a day at the beach...maybe a hike in the mountains. Oh wait, that might involve trail ruts...better avoid that.

the onion doesn't look anything like a concertina, or wait.... sorry its the string that doesn't resemble barbwire. and where's the saltlick?
I was going to include a saltlick, and then I thought "no, that's just what people would expect."
