I was on your blog yesterday and wanted to leave a comment on "The dog beach" painting but I had to change a diaper...but I digress. Phenominal painting!! You get all the check marks in all the areas of criteria that make a great piece of art. It reminds me of one of my favorite contemporary painters, a guy who lives near me and I've painted with once..google Stan Moeller from York, Maine. he's a great plein air painter and really nice guy. I love your work Don, it has in my opinion the perfect amount of loosness and freshness. All the best, Todd
Sure love the way you handled the vase- it definitely is the star, with the flowers as supporting actors. The coral tint of the surface is great underneath it all.
Todd, get your priorities straight, man! How can you let caring for your child get in the way of posting a comment on my blog?!
