I am trying with this series to express a kind of quiet, meditative spirit, which I think is the state of mind most of us get in when we visit the ocean.
Don, Your portrayal of sand is nothing short of amazing. The transition from dry sand into wet, the reflected light on the wet sand, the hole sinking in on itself as the surf recedes, perhaps left by a crab burying into the sand, all display a keen sense of observation. Just great!
Very kind words, Mark, and much appreciated. I'm afraid my "keen observation" was more like dumb luck of the brush as it slathered paint around in a fortunate way.
