My apologies for the sporadic posts lately. I'm painting for a small show at Arts East, our regional arts council, and haven't been able to work on small pieces as regularly as I'd like.
Here's lovely Catherine Creek again, all decked out in fall colors.

Very beautiful, Don!
Indeed she is and just the right touches of cool colors too!
My golly this is stunning. This is a painting that can make you feel something.
Hi Suzanne--thanks!
I thank you, Erika!
Kind of you to say, Bill (unless you're feeling sick to your stomach :)
right on the money my friend. the sun on the sunlit shapes vs the cool shadows. sweeet one. can see why it sold so quick. love it!
Wow, I knew this one would be marked "sold" before I even scrolled down to look! : )
Hi Mike, good to hear from you. Thanks for the encouragement!
Thanks a lot, Leslie!
Another one with great "feel" to it! It "feels" as if I could walk on the other side of the creek and notice the rise in temperature as I come out of the shadows and into the sunlight. You really caught it, Don! Great job.
Brian, so pleased to hear your reaction--thanks for that.
Beautiful work. Really conveys that moment of peace.
Hi Ed, thanks for the visit and kind word. I really enjoy your work.
