Woodshed

Watercolor on paper, 5" x 7"
$125 plus $6 shipping in U.S.

A painting can develop from the simplest of things. In this case, the crispness of the light and shadow patterns on this humble little building caught my eye, and then the wonderful S-curve of that upper limb.

Simple but moving.

Very strong piece, you've got shadows and lights down Don! I wonder what it is about this subject that mesmerizes me.

Hi Don
I had forgotten how damn good you are, you manage to squeeze an awful lot of poetry out of a watercolour.

Wow, Simon, thank you! Means a great deal coming from such a fine painter as yourself.
