A Modern Horse

Oil on board, 5" x 7"
$125 plus $6 shipping in U.S.
SOLD

Regular viewers will recognize this little barn, which I never seem to tire of painting. (Maybe you're all sick of it!) I see this view of it every morning when I leave the house.

Mark, who rents pasture from us, sometimes drives his ATV out to check on his cows. Many cowboys these days are increasingly leaving Ol' Paint staring through the fence rails as they climb on their four-wheeled beasts and ride off into the sunset. I suspect they feel a little guilty about it, though.

I appreciate the way you handle oils and water colors. You're the first art blog I check out when I get a chance at the computor.

Don!

Oh, this is a stunning little landscape!

I'm definitely not sick of this barn. It has such a unique shape and that wonderful red color is great.

I bet seeing it in person is just awesome!

Great job!
