The Daily Paintings of Don Gray
Don, such an honest yet comforting interpretation of cut apples.
I have a new class of beginners starting Thursday. Our first lesson is one apple. We paint it four times to demonstrate different ways to capture form. It also begins to train their eye to see light and shadow. Your apples are a nice reminder for me...Very well done.
I'm glad you're back to the oils. Eat an apple every day.Yes, I put on my M.G. beads and rooted for America's team. Great game, fun win!
Thanks a lot, Rahina.
Thanks, Susan--good luck with the class.
Or, slice an apple every day and watch it shrivel up while you paint it. :)
exactly Don, you took the words right out of my mouth, that's what makes this so special!
Really nice and loose.
Thanks for coming by, Jala.
