Overflow

Oil on board, 6" x 6"
SOLD

Another painting from the same region near the creek. Suddenly the green is everywhere. I love how spring always manages to sneak up and surprise us, even when we're anxiously awaiting it.

Water seems to flow in "J's" in your neck of the woods...

Love the greenery. Isn't it wonderful it finally arrived? It never seems to stop surprising me how beautiful it is. Its almost like I forget exactly how wonderful the leaves look. How does that happen? We can stare at it in wonderment as though we've never seen it before. I can tell you enjoy it as much. Lovely painting of a precious spot...

Amazing that this is only 6"x6". It has the look of a much bigger painting. Lovely!

Just beautiful! You really nailed all those greens! I agree with silvina in that it does look like a much larger painting.

Gorgeous Don. I love this time of year when the creeks and streams are full to overflowing with the snow melt. This is a wonderful capture.

Another peaceful and powerful landscape. I really love the drama you capture of shadow and light. Cold and warm. Ever since I bought a painting from you good things have been happening.

Ohmigosh, you're right, Susan--how weird that I didn't notice the "J's!" Thanks for your nice note.

Anyone who doesn't like Spring is just weird, right Katherine?! %^} Thanks a lot.

Wow Nate, if I could just convince everyone that if they buy a painting from me, good things will happen! :>) Thanks for the visit and kind words--great to see your new work.

Except those who get bad allergies, then I understand anti-Spring weirdness. :>{

This one really caught my eye. I'm amazed at the movement in the water - and in such a small place.

Seeing your small landscapes makes me want to break out the oils!

I love this one, it's so serene...

Well yeah, Katherine, I didn't think about the allergy thing. I'll give them a pass for not liking Spring.

Wow! You got so much detail in a very small piece and still managed to have an interesting sky, receding mountains, great light and reflection. Really beautiful work.
