From Civil War murals back to seashells. Like Forrest Gump said: "You never know what you're gonna get."

I think this might be the last shell for a while. Though I haven't mentioned it before, the leaking oil well in the Gulf has been much on my mind throughout this series. Great news to hear that the latest cap on the well has so far been successful and that the oil, at least for now, is no longer pouring out. Like everyone, my fingers are crossed that this will be the end of the spill.

And what a finish to the shells it is, this is just beautiful with all its colours. It takes some boldness and experience to place them so well. I noticed a glow in the opening as well, it's spot on.

Stunning and strangely beautiful!
Masterful use of brushstrokes and colors (wich reminds light refracting its spectrum on surfaces contaminated by oil)- great piece Don.
