What beautiful early winter days we're having. Today is clear and fairly cold, but no wind--perfect for a walk out in the valley. Yesterday was more unsettled, with cloudbanks and rolling fogs moving across the hills...grand and elemental. Toward evening the moon appeared in the eastern sky, serene and nearly full.

So serene.
Hey! We've got that here! I stood out in the chilly twilight with a neighbor and talked about how the moon is/seems full for days. Today's the day, though there was beautiful blue light last night.
Your grand and elemental cloudbank (wonderful color) is due to bring winter here this afternoon, so I doubt we'll see any more of this moon. Brrr.
Thanks, Tanner. Your "Blue Note; Surfacing" is marvelous.
Hi Sam--thanks. We woke to a skiff of snow this morn, but last night I went outside to see the full moon directly overhead, lighting up a groundfog with an eerie glow...astonishing. What a world!
Lovely, Don. By coincidence, I posted a moon and sunset yesterday, too!
You sure did, Susan--and it's beautiful too! Love those calligraphic palm fronds. Thanks for your note.
