Are you chilly? Time to warm things up a bit with this painting--an early summer memory of the Santa Rosa Plateau, an ecological reserve near our former California home. It was one of our favorite escapes to walk the open meadows punctuated with stands of oak and sycamore.

Some great news: Daily Paintworks, the online community of a dozen fine artists I'm proud to be part of, has just rolled out an expanded version of the site. Most exciting is the new search tool which allows you to search by artist name, title, keywords, and even dominant colors through the over 4,000 paintings on the site. The large thumbnails in each artist's gallery section make it a great way to see lots of work quickly, instead of the cumbersome process of scrolling backwards through a blog, or combing the archives.

Please take a look. You can visit Daily Paintworks at http://www.dailypaintworks.com/, and see my personal gallery at www.dailypaintworks.com/Artists/dgray.
