Love it, Don. There is something really appealing to me about snow on rustic, simple buildings like sheds and barns, and you've captured whatever that is. Plus, it could be anywhere in the west or southwest - I've seen this many times before.

great warm tones in this painting Don. Makes one like winter. looks as though those clouds across the moon are in a hurry to get to Wyoming where they can do their wintery deed.

The moon video has the same mesmerizing appeal as the OPB Yule Log. So simple & serene. Why do I keep watching? :)

Thanks, Sonya. Yes, these little hardscrabble buildings are pretty common in the rural west, aren't they?

Hi Gary--thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, those clouds are in a rush, aren't they?

Not ignoring your red sheds, but wow! the moon cutting negative shapes out of the night sky is amazing!

I really like this painting. It makes me want to stay and explore it. Takes me back to my parents farm.

Oh man, Sam--why did I try to compete with the moon?!

Thanks, Rahina. Yes, with my filmmaking skills I imagine Steven Spielberg's getting just a little nervous by now.

Thanks, Susan--glad it taps good memories.

Waxing Moon: Wonderful! Mother Nature at her finest. If you ever give up the painting thing, I think a career in Hollywood awaits. (:

I'd better get to the tanning bed if I'm going to hang with the Hollywood crowd, Diane! Thanks for the visit.
