A larger oil--one of two plein air paintings I had fun doing a few weeks ago at the Ladd Marsh "Birdathon" event. This Red-winged Blackbird stopped by to see what all the hubbub was about.
Note: This painting is ready to display. The panel is flush-mounted on a 1 1/2" deep cradling framework, complete with hanging wire. Edges are painted a harmonizing neutral color and no further framing is necessary.
