Hi Don,
This is breathtaking, Don. Truly. This unbelievable sense of space in a 5x7 format is...well...it leaves me speechless.
How ever in the world do you do this? Yeah, I know...two hours and thirty years. But, there has to be more to it than that.
You are a gifted artist.
Sincerely,
Gary.

Really nice, Don. That scene could easily pass for many places here in CO; it is a familiar view with a familiar mood.

Gary is right - it is a grander painting than its small dimensions suggest.

Wow, Gary--thank you for that marvelous compliment!

So appreciated, Sonya. Thanks for coming by.

Don,

I believe I've been on that property. I think my father had an FHA loan with the owner. A lovely place and painting.

My impression was the same as Gary and Sonya--a much larger painting was somehow compressed into a very small space. Love the colors, the composition, as well.
