Dan's Inspiration

Daniel Lynch--1982 / 2006

I got an email recently from Robert Lynch, who heads up the DRL Art Education and Scholarship Program. The program is named after his son, Daniel Lynch, a dedicated young college art student who was tragically shot and killed on his way to class.  The project  is "dedicated to enhancing and strengthening art education in the school system and providing scholarships to disadvantaged students to attend a college or university of their choice".

They are in the midst of a fundraising drive and I'm happy to help raise awareness of this worthy program. Please take a few minutes to read Daniels story and consider a small donation of support:

Thanks!

A sad story, but hopefully some positive outcomes. Yes, art is quick to be chopped from the curriculum. Happy to contribute Don.
