I've become a head hunter. Or more accurately, a head counter, moving from figure to figure painting the portrait heads in the mural. They're the most time-consuming part, requiring a lot of intense focus that leaves me exhausted by day's end. I'll paint in the clothing and other details later. That part should go pretty fast (he said, naively).
SHOW BIZ!!A couple of my semi-abstract paintings are in a group show called "East Meets West", at the Blackfish Gallery in Portland, Oregon. I'll be there tomorrow evening for the first Thursday reception. If you're in the neighborhood I hope you'll drop by and say hello.
