Here's another painting from our California days that has never been posted on the blog. Granite outcrops like these are common all over southern California. This is going to date me as an aging Boomer, but the painting's title comes from Hollywood westerns of my youth that starred William Boyd as "Hopalong Cassidy". During the mid to late 50's, I used to watch "Hoppy" take cover behind similar big boulders while chasing bad guys across our old black and white TV screen.
