Here's Winslow, my ever-present companion. I'm getting ready to begin a series of paintings of him for an upcoming gallery show to be titled "Sit...Stay." I'll post more details and the paintings as they develop.

A man may smile and bid you hail
Yet wish you to the devil;
But when a good dog wags his tail,
You know he's on the level.

Lovely study Don. Why do their eyes always look so sad or is it just their wisdom. I love the little poem too. Good luck with preparing for your show. I hope it goes well for you.

Thanks, Sheila--so nice to hear from you. Winslow's "puzzled" or "interested" expressions often look sad. People probably think I beat him, but he's really a pretty happy little guy.

So pleased to see your recent figurative work--beautiful as always.
