The Daily Paintings of Don Gray
This is so "Don Gray." You paint an object, like that quirky piece of driftwood; you keep the specificity and at the same time, make a beautiful painting that is about so much more than a oddly shaped crook of wood. This is not well-expressed but perhaps I'll try again with another painting to say what I mean.
Shirley, that's such a generous statement and beautifully expressed, in my opinion. Thanks so much!
